The best part of wedding planning is working with wonderful families and amazing wedding vendors time and time again. Maci and Trey’s wedding was no different. Luckily for me, this was the second time I was honored to work with the Andrus family after having planned the wedding of Maci’s older sister, Victoria Andrus Zaunbrecher, in 2015.

Maci and Trey were a dream to coordinate with. They had a vision for their wedding day, yet allowed things to flow easily and effortlessly throughout the entire planning process. While meeting to customize their wedding stationery, Maci wanted to keep things traditional and elegant, which we accomplished by choosing a Traditional Ecru Invitation. We added gold thermography and hand-selected font styles to give it a unique flair. Coordinating thank-you notes completed her suite and added the perfect touch to her overall wedding. Customization really showcased her unique wedding vision and I enjoyed creating the perfect suite for them.

After commemorating their marriage at St. Pius X Catholic Church, the couple and their wedding party rode off to the reception on a trolley provided by Lafayette Limo and Trolley.

Le Pavillon served as a gorgeous reception space and we knew right away that we wanted to highlight the already present beauty of the selected venue. Root Floral Design helped us achieve that by placing luscious and whimsical floral throughout. As always, the floral elements really brought everything together and created a beautiful setting.

Throughout the evening, our wedding guests enjoyed catering and cocktails by Petroleum Club of Lafayette, delicious wedding cake by Kathleen Short and danced that night away with Souled Out Party Band.

As Maci’s wedding planner, I was so proud to work with some of the most amazing wedding vendors, which truly brought the wedding day to life. Sarah Beth Photography and Aperçu Films captured every point of the day beginning with dressing photos and ending while wedding guests waved ribbon wands as the newlyweds rode off into their future together as Husband and Wife.

Moonlight & Lace Weddings and Events was also happy to assist the couple in booking their honeymoon at an amazing Sandals All Inclusive Resort in Jamaica as well as preserving Maci’s wedding gown to keepsake for years to come.
